Quick Weight Loss: Getting Fit The Right Way

Quick weight loss is certainly difficult; but it is definitely possible. There are many steps that you can take to shed pounds, and shed them quickly. Staying motivated is often difficult for those venturing on the road to weight loss. The first step, therefore, is to overcome this lack of motivation and do something!

Taking action doesn’t mean doing something every once in a while, but instead, being consistently aware of the goal that you’re trying to achieve. To burn fat quickly, it’s going to take more than just luck; it’s going to take determination. How do you keep yourself motivated? Well, just think about the person that you’re trying to become – the fit version of you. Think about not only how you will change physically, but how you will change as a person as well.

When you become more comfortable with the person that you are, you’ll be able to show more kindness to others. Again, use this as an impetus to get in shape. Now, there are some more steps that you can take to get fit in just a short time. These methods include heavy exercise, a healthy diet, and possibly the most important, a positive outlook on life.

As far as exercise is concerned, you’ll truly have to push yourself if you want to lose weight rapidly. Depending on how much you’re looking to lose, the degree of your workouts will need to vary. Again, this comes down to will power. If you want to make your goal, you’ll strive to keep pushing, even when you don’t think you can go any further. A good exercise plan is the first step to quick weight loss.

However, without a healthy diet, your exercise will be essentially pointless. A healthy diet is the best complement to a good workout schedule. While your muscles begin to develop and take form, eating well will decrease your body fat, making these muscles visible. This is ideal, not only for dropping pounds, but also for having a more impressive physique.

Lastly, a positive outlook can bring everything together. As was mentioned before, it’s vitally important to stay motivated. In having this outlook, you can do the essential things to make your goals and dreams a reality. There are things out there that will promise quick weight loss, like special diets, pills, and even surgery, but nothing is so fulfilling as actually doing it by yourself. Prepare yourself for some hard work, but keep in mind, it’s all for a great result.

But, you might still be thinking, why shouldn’t I just take the easy route, with surgery or diet pills? Firstly, if they are successful, these are both very costly and largely temporary solutions to obesity. If you get surgery, there’s always the chance that you’ll just gain it right back. Think about it, you haven’t actually changed any of the habits that made you that way to begin with. Obviously, the same goes for dietary medicine as well.

So, there it is. Be the person that you want to be; but do it naturally. This may not sound like the best way to shed pounds efficiently, but be assured that it is. If you work hard, you will begin to see improvements very quickly, and you’ll be happy that you accomplished this feat by yourself.

Weight Loss: 4 Reasons You’re Not Fit

Most – if not all – of us want to be fit. We daydream about how good we’ll look in a bikini or with our shirts off (mostly the guys) on the beach. That’s all well and good, but how many of us are living life in our dream bodies? There are tons of reasons that we can cook up to squirm out of getting fit. Some may be good excuses, but at the end of the day, they’re still excuses. The following are 4 obstacles and the solutions to reveal your best body ever.

1. You just don’t want to be bothered.
In our minds, exercise and denying ourselves the pleasures of tasty (basically fatty and sugary) foods that we crave are painful experiences. A simple work-around is to picture something painful about being fat. This will motivate you towards healthy eating and exercise. Notice the negative impact your current weight and habits have on your health, self-esteem and lifestyle and make a change.

2. You are crazy busy.
Many of us work too much, over commit ourselves and don’t even get enough sleep. You even begin to feel too busy to take care of your health. This is a slippery slope toward a miserable life. Re-prioritizing a few items will free your schedule up to cook healthy meals, exercise and get a good night’s sleep. Remind yourself that taking care of your health is not a luxury – it’s a necessity.

3. You don’t deserve it… or so you think.
Take a moment to think back on all the times you have self-sabotaged your weight loss efforts. If you don’t believe deep down that you are worthy then you’ll never give yourself a chance at a fit body. Tell yourself that you DO deserve it.

4. You are afraid.
You’re either afraid to start because you might fail; or you’re afraid you might succeed, and the change makes you uncomfortable – even if it’s a good change. Guess what? Getting fit and healthy means you will need to go through a bunch of changes including a new diet, exercise routine, new clothes, uncovered self-esteem.

Focus on all the ways that losing weight will make your life better. Envision that better life everyday so that it goes from being scary to comfortable and exciting. BREAK YOUR WEIGHT LOSS SLUMP INSTANTLY

I’m sure you know at least 1 person who’s struggling with weight issues? They want to make a healthy change by getting in shape, but the change never seems to take hold. That person may even be you. World-renowned motivator, professional speaker and author, Tony Robbins says that there are 3 basic beliefs that need to hold true for us to reach our goals:

Belief #1: Something must change:

Do you sort of want to get into shape, or do you absolutely have to lose the weight? In order to make a lasting change you must be convinced that it’s now or never.

Belief #2: I must change it:

You have to take full responsibility in making the change. It is important to have a good support system, but in the end you are the one who is going to make it happen.

Belief #3: I can change it:

Don’t focus on past missteps. Believe that you are capable of losing weight or making any other positive change in your life.

Many people are gung-ho at the beginning and this works for a while, but you’ll always revert back to what’s comfortable. The solution? Start by making small changes.

You’ve probably heard that two things motivate humans: 1) to avoid pain and 2) to gain pleasure. When you want to change a behavior pattern the key is to associate pain with the behavior that you don’t want and pleasure with the behavior that you do want. It’s time to retrain your brain to feel good about exercise and to feel bad about gorging late at night. Think about all of the negative things about being overweight and connect these unpleasant thoughts to your late night snack. Now think about all of the wonderful things about being in shape and connect these pleasant thoughts to exercise like being toned, having tons of energy and being less stressed out.
